The point of the cake smash session is just that—the SMASH! The messier, the better!
When should I book?
If you are hoping to display the photos from our session at your child's birthday party, the session should take place a month prior to the date so that you can have your photos returned in time. Otherwise anytime leading up to the first birthday is ideal.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN’T EAT THE CAKE?
Some children love the cake smash and dig right in! Others are more hesitant and even get upset. Feel free to bring puffs, cheerios, or any other small snack that your child likes that we can place on the cake to entice him/her to participate.
What should my baby wear?
Neutrals and solids are beautiful. You can choose an outfit that correlates with their birthday theme and/or colors. I can help you choose something that will be much cuter than doing the cake smash in a diaper.
